REGENT is a continuous heat sealing machine for welding polythene/polypropylene bags.
Designed as a multipurpose unit it can be used either as a conventional table top sealer for i.e. handpacking (ref. inset illustration), or alternatively used with a conveyor to form an integral part of a semi-automatic packing line.
The Regent uses the principle of continuously driven bands to pass the bags between an arrangement of heater blocks, pressure wheels and cooling blocks, to effect a seal.
Temperature of the heater blocks is monitored by a precise electronic temperature controller and thermocouple sensor. Cooling is effected by a fan across the cool blocks.
