The standard range of vacuum sealers offered are designed for use with single web and plastic laminated films. The machine is based around a Gandus heavy duty air operated semi-automatic Impulse sealer and is suitable for continuous use., with an adjustable timed vacuum or gas purge facility (as required) delivered by a retractable nozzle. The units are able to mount vertically or horizontally as the application requires.
Where seal quality is imperative such as medical or laboratory use, the MED-VAC version is offered. This has a higher (validatable) level of control and monitoring, with seal temperature as well as seal time able to be controlled, plus vacuum and dwell time (Detailed specification on the downloadable brochure).
The Vacuum is provided by a simple Venturi vacuum pump system supplied from the air-line source that also feeds the sealing jaw actuation. An air supply of 6 Bar and a 230 volt single phase electrical supply is required.
The machine is suitable for horizontal or overhead mounting as the application dictates. Astrapac offer a number of different support frames and product trays relevant to the application.
This model is supplied with stainless steel bodywork and is available in a range of sizes.
